As I'm always looking to cut costs I've moved my business lines to XLN.

Over 100,000 small UK businesses have switched to XLN for cheap phone calls. Save up to 55% on cheaper business calls and 31% on cheaper line rental compared with BT™. XLN's UK-based call centre and use of BT OpenReach™ network and engineers provide the highest levels of service.

Yes it is too good to be True!

We are rightly taught from an early age to be suspicious of things that are "Too good to be True". Trouble is that on the Internet this isn't always true, businesses are so desperate to get you join their mailing list or to visit their website that they do give things away for free in the hope of eventually upselling to you. If you want to participate in the "Klondike" you have to understand this new economic paradigm (model).

For example you can download lots of really useful stuff for free here:-

www.30daysofchristmas.com

and here

www.santasal.com

It's worth looking to see how people are launching new businesses these days

eBay

I'd gone off eBay a bit having been a PowerSeller, but you cannot escape eBay it won't go away. I've just sold a car a 1991 Golf on there for a very good price. What you have to remember is that eBay is mostly a BUYERS market, it is only a SELLERS market for a relatively few HOT or RARE items. If you have a  HOT or RARE item then eBay becomes a very good place indeed.

But how how to find these rare items well Scott Foster has written a new ebook "91 Common Everyday Items that Bring Huge Profits on eBay" I don't agree with everything in it but it will give you an idea of what you should be looking for in Garage & Car Boot sales.
