Below the Fold Disasters

I guess everyone has had this problem at some time or other; you receive an email asking you quote,do a job, respond etc. You do what is required quickly and efficiently and sit back waiting for the praise, it doesn't come instead you get this angry response what about the other 99 bullet points that there unfortunately BELOW the fold of your Screen that you hadn't seen!

I once went to a meeting at Town A but half the expected participents went to Town B which was the was the normal meeting place because the organiser had put as a tiny footnote on a long dull email that the meeting location had been moved to the client's premises (Town A)

Email writers should always be aware of the BTF problem, and summarise the contents at the top of the email.

Pigeonhole Utility for storing odd bits of information

I'm a fan of M8Software and absolutely adore 25 clips which stores the last 25 things I copied and pasted. The only disadvantage is that on busy days I'd need more than 25 clips, so I'm now looking at Pigeonhole which stores information for as long as need.

Now I'm trying out Pigeonhole which allows you store 175 bits of text, web addresses, telephone numbers for later reuse. So you can view up to 175 different pieces of information just by moving the mouse over the grid, could anything be easier? I'm currently using the free version.

Between 25 clips and Pigeonhole I should now never lose any information.

When you lose information you may be also lose an idea see why I think Idea Generation is so critical at Just How do you Create More Ideas?
