Hi I had an ugly problem on my Vista where the screen started to break up, with taskbars disappearing etc, a friend recommened Advanced WindowsCare Personal which you is available free from download.com . I installed it and it highlighted all sorts of problems with my PC which I authorised it to resolve. Well I havent had a problem since so I guessed it worked. I've always wanted to use one of these programs but was scared they might be malware, but as it's been download by 2,000,000 people at download.com I guess its OK
